Default Will a BK Fire Extinguisher Mount Fit on 996 GT3 Seat?

I have a Brey-Krause under seat mount Fire Extinguisher Bracket #2035, mounted on my stock 987s Boxster drivers seat.
http://www.bkauto.com/porsche/r2035.php

I want to use this BK bracket mount on 996 GT3 seats in a 997 GT3.

QUESTION:
Will this bracket fit and mount on a 996 GT3 Seat?

Thanks

.

if by 996 GT3 seats you mean the European GT3 seats the answer is no...it might fit the 996 GT3 sport seat...check out Sharkwerks...they have a FE bracket for the 996 GT3 Euro seat

You will need part number R-2020 and R-9501-A from BK Auto to mount the safecraft fire extinguisher to a Euro GT3 seat...wait a second...you will also need the BK anti-sub belt mount for the 2020 to attach to...that is R-9030...Sharkwerks makes a bracket that attaches to the sub mount holes and holds a safecraft...check them out...

bk just came out with a universal mount, but it looks like crap and it also looks heavy. They claim 2.5lbs. Ugh.

http://www.bkauto.com/porsche/r9540.php

These are the correct part numbers:
http://www.bkauto.com/porsche/r2030.php
http://www.bkauto.com/porsche/r9030.php

You'll need 9030 if you're going to run harnesses anyways...

No, it doesn't look like crap. I have one out of a Boxster I'm selling.

The Universal Fire Extinguisher mount is for sale, too.

It worked beautifully, because it's Universal and the heavy bar is tucked "under" the seat. Can't even see it.

Are Porsche owners suckers? It's just a piece of metal. I don't understand the cost.

i have both sharkwerks and BK mount.
BK is quite expensive and are 3 pcs bolted togehter. it's simpler to just get the single piece mt from sharkwerks.

But if you're running harnesses you'll need some type of sub bar as well. I guess it's a wash either way.

We don't need no water let the mother****er burn
Burn mother****er, burn

With some of the clubs and higher run groups a FE is required.

Unless you're stuck inside when it happens.

You'll be pissing alright, but I've yet to see anyone put out a car fire that way.
