Default Differences between Moton versions?

Anyone know the specific differences between these :

M 500 042 996 C2/4/GT3/RS/GT2 (road ver.) $4845 Quick disconnects front/rear front struts, pin mount rear
M 500 040 996 GT3-Cup/GT3R/RS (track ver.) $4295 Quick disconnects front front struts, pin mount rear

Presumably road have 2 sets of quick disconnects to make the dampers adjustable from inside the cabin? (Does this mean drilling the shell?).

Also are springs and valving different?

p.s. info is from here : http://www.gmgracing.com/porsche_suspension.shtml

I'm considering importing as Euro price seems a lot higher.

Moton Road version (aka Clubsport) have 6 clicks (7 positions). The Race version has 14 clicks (15 positions). They both have the same range, but the Race version has more resolution.

The main difference is that the MotorSports version has aluminum damper body instead of steel as the ClubSport.

The 2-way MotorSports are on the $5k range, and the three-way MotorSports on the $7k range, while the ClubSports are on the $4k range.

I think those prices are swapped.

Those are both club sports so I think shark werks have different setups available perhaps (i.e. springs + valves + the extra disconnects)?

Anyway sounds like optimal for me would be 1 or 2 way motorsports. I've got 3 ways on my m3 and its a pain adjusting so many clickers (especially as I effectively treat them as 2 ways).

Where does the remote canister get placed for the rears without quick releases, somewhere under the engine hood? Think I've seen the in the cabin before attached to the cage for easy adjustment and to protect them?

Also do you know if the motorsports have the same level of seals etc? Really keen to not run anything needing annual rebuilds.

Thanks for any advice!

p.s. when you say 2 way motorsports, are you counting ride height as an adjustment (in the German fashion...)

I have springs for these on ebay if you buy a set. 2 each of 700, 900, 1100 and 1300.

Not sure whether its cost effective to ship springs internationally?

For a car I still sometimes enjoy on the road, would you think those rates would be a bit hardcore? I reckon 900/1300 would knock my teeth out, not sure 700/100?

Thanks,

Dan
