Default WTB: 996 GT3 wheels in Bay Area, CA

Hello guys, I am looking for a set of 996 GT3 wheels. I am thinking to powder coat them to black. Prefer local seller in the Bay Area in California. Please PM me if you have them for sale. Thanks.

Why GT3 wheels? I have Forgelines on my car for street use, and use CCWs on the track. Either are less expensive than a set of stock wheels, I think. Sold my stock wheels long ago.

Joe, a pristine set of OEMs is worth around $1600-$1800. Your two suggestions are roughly $1K more than that new, right?

Correct; I thought OEM wheels were going for more than $1600-1800.

Dave, unless the market has changed recently, that pricing is off. 2K was the starting point. I have an extra set that I painted black and I will NOT let them go for less than 2K. They will stay as one of my many extra sets before I let them go for less than that.

I recently sold a set for 2K and I have purchased a set in the last year and can tell you that $1600 for a pristine set just isn't what is out there.

time passes... most recent set just went for $1500, though I'm sure that's not indicative of average price. Don't get me wrong, they still fetch $2000 too. You would think I just told some of you our cars were only worth $60K!! chill Fluctuations in an economic microcosm of who's looking and how many are selling.
