Celebrating 5 years of ownership by dropping the engine, pinning the coolant fittings, and loads of maintenance goodies.

Here is mine after I just relocated from the Bay Area to San Diego.
Still need to find the right canyon roads to fully enjoy the car, let me know if you are in the area and want to go for a drive.

Nice! I'm in Arizona but have a small house in mission beach. No good roads around there! I have yet to get my car to Cali though! I'm worried my front lip would last all of two seconds in the San Diego metro area!

Went on the first roadtrip of 2021. One of our group broke in his brand new GT4 on the trip.

Next time you are in SD let me know, you are welcome to take her for a spin.
I added the Perlon seats you like and it as a LWFW too.
I live in the Rancho Santa Fe area and the roads are OK from a clearance perspective.

I think this car’s aging beautifully. There’s only one fault with the car, the exhaust, not bad for a 16 year old vw with ugly headlights
