I think the Dunlops come in one compound for the "GT" cars.

Here's a link to their sizes at tire places we use at VIR (our local track):http://www.sascosports.com/products/...php?type_id=36

it seems that only these sizes fit to stock rims: front - 235/640R18 rear- 285/650R18. Anyawy,Dell thanks a lot. Your suggestion are very helpfull for me.
What I d like to say is that I found out the GT3 cup 996 were running rear pirelli: 295/680 and front 235/645.

I found it for whose would be interested in. Dunlop compound for slicks:

2002 start season : B61DX standard case ....
B93D softer case (front)
B94D softer case (rear)
B58D standard case
B84D LM-GTP
B52W wet B78D standard case
A62W sportscar wet
B72W LM-GTP wet
plus (or ipo) from 2002-2nd qtr:
B92DX Softer case
B92D Softer
B78D standard case
B92W wet
It seems quite complicated

I ve received from dealer in Germany the information that they have onle Pirelli D3 and D5. You recommended D4 for rear and as a result I have a problem now.
What compound do you suggest D3 or D5 or nothing?

In a perfect world I would go with the D4 and wait. But if you cannot wait maybe see how you like the D3 but I can't comment on the difference in grip level. Not sure I would go with the D5 in back as that is the softest you can get back there and not the optimal setup for the car. Maybe D3 front and rear if there are no D4's? Personally, I would wait (as I am doing right now).

I was told there were no D4 in stock. What they did have were cold damaged. So now I play the waiting game. I guess Pirelli needs to supply the race teams FIRST then the distributors?

I have only run Yok slicks as scrubs, never had a set of stickers. However, I have run my fastest time to date at VIR with them and I was actually very impressed with the level of grip and the control I felt I had.

I ve just received info from dealer that pirelli does not name slicks' compound D3.D4,D5...anymore. They use now hard, medium, soft. Does anyone heart something about it?
