2004 carrara white on black - lightly optioned - 3rd owner.

8,200 miles - bought March 2007 with 4,950 miles.

Will be purchasing an extended warranty in January 2008.

No track miles ... replaced the original battery last Friday when I installed a Manthey Racing rear carbon fiber RS wing.

+1. Same here bro. You should drive up to NoVA so that we could do some photoshoot or something.

Scott - Nice avatar! What other aftermarket parts have you added since the purchase? in yoiur avatar, I see either a Cup or RS wing (not sure) on the back and it looks great. What else did you add?

Thanks,
-Blake

All warranty items.
1. replaced braided steel line from transmission to oil cooler (leaking a lot)
2. reattached the driver's side lower windshield molding
3. bypassed the rear center console storage box lock switch, alarm sensor portion failed

Thanks Blake.

The wing is made by Manthey ... nothing else changed to date ... my car is pretty basic. No mechanical issues whatsoever to date. I did change out the all black with red stitching seats that came in the car for the exact same kind but with red backs that I had sitting around that were meant to go in my 993 black cab. The guage faces are red, the seat belts are red, and the calipers are standard red.

I'll be adding Rennline alu pedals, floor boards, and track mats real soon. Thinking about a white GMG roll-bar (I'm tall) and am on the fence re: carbon fiber mirrors.

Sounds good Scott! The red accents sound like a very nice layout. You know, white cars are faster....

'04 which I bought 9/11/07 with 2800 miles and now has 4500 miles. Only about 100 DE miles so far... Have all records and see no issues except a rattle in a speaker which the dealer fixed. It is a dream car for me.

Cheers!

Yes ... I do know that ... at least for the 996 line ... for 993's ... black was fastest.

And I think black was the fastest for 964s as well.... Go figure

I see we both had black '79 SC Targas... That car was --- not so fast....
