End of year GT3 Mileage and Status Check
Now that some of the GT3's are 4 years old I thought it would be neat to get a pulse on how many miles your cars have and if there have been any major repairs needed. If you can identify track miles seperate from total miles it would be cool to share that as well.
I will start - 2004 GT3 purchased new 12k miles total Not enough track miles .
Repairs: Replaced RMS under warranty discovered by tech doing the service.

'04 GT3, 21,700 miles, purchased January '05 with 12K street miles, my 9K miles are about evenly split between track and street. No mechanical repairs. Bumper, left fender, and radiator replaced due to my first experience with lift-throttle-oversteer. Unfortunately, that happened on the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. But it did get me the RS bumper to replace the stock one.

2004 Arctic Silver on Black - 2nd Owner
27,438 miles
Two Mechanicals: Broken blinker stalk; "broken" oil pressure sender unit
Clutch Replacement (OEM parts) and 30K service done.
Assumption: Heavy Track Usage (at least 25% of miles) based on alignment, welded floor braces/plates/anchor rings, welded window net mounting points, data acq. unit, fully plumbed 6 nozzle halon unit, and other "surprises"

2nd owner, purchased 12/06 w/ ~4500mi. Currently at 12,500mi, maybe 15-20 track hours, 1.0K - 1.5K track miles ?? FMS leak, with FMS and RMS (on the house) replaced at about 6Kmi. Other than that rock solid with usual replacement of consumables - tires, rotors, brake pads, etc.

Burning Brakes
2nd owner - Puchased 5/5/05 with 12,000ish
Currently about 24,750
No repairs, no problems (other than consumables). Original owner had some sort of engine shield remounted, but that was it. Great car. Well, I still need to get the caster issue sorted....
Maybe 3-4 trackdays, but shortened ones. I have had little time for the track... :-(

2005 2nd owner, first owner was my dad who sold it to me with 1200 miles on it in 2006. Now has 5400 miles on it with nothing to report as a problem. Getting ready to replace the front splitter with one from a cup car because of the current breaking on one end. Other than that it is flawless
