Dell, you're way down the learning curve! If you'd be willing to share that data, let me know, I'd appreciate it.

Cheers!

Yes, great link! Thanks. I see there ARE rear brake ducts (spoilers). Wonder how many cars actually have them. Haven't seen them on the 10, or so, I've checked out.

Cheers...

Rear brake ducts? What page are you seeing this on? What's the part number or diagram number?

What part number are you looking at? I betcha it's not a brake duct.

Agree with Austin. More like the protective plate is what I assume is what was referred to which is why I asked.

Here is what I saw:

Group 5 Rear Axle, Illustration 501-00, page 002
996 331 127 90 Spoiler L
996 331 128 90 Spoiler R
The items are not pictured and so don't have POS numbers.

What do you think??

splash plates that probably never made it on a car. I think my fronts( don't see them listed) made it through one rotor change. "What's that grinding noise?"

Well, they run about $75/ea. so not that expensive if you want to experiment with them.

Well, in my run group (newbie!) probably not needed and won't make much difference. When I get over to the dealer, I'll have a look to see how big and what shape they are...assuming they even have them in stock (probably not).

Cheers,

No rear brake ducts in the Cup car so I doubt there were any on the street cars. Austin nice to hear from you buddy !!
