I would like to know as well!

I have the thinner steering wheel and as it looks like my car is slowly turning into a track-only car, I would definately be interested in putting in this wheel. Perhaps even the Momo one if it really is the same wheel.

How much is the quick connect and how do you turn off the airbag light?

I just purchased a Snap Off Race Quick Connect for $185. In order to to keep the air bag light off without the airbag I was told you need to put a resistor in the wiring to trick the system that the airbag is there.

Correct. I can't remember the resistor value but Gert can tell you.

Wheel and QR from Gert -- 590 euros plus shipping

roughly $850

He sells a resistor of some sort to trick the airbag light for 5 euros...

How do I know?

I just ordered it from Gert -- Christmas present from my wife

momo mod 07 steering wheel $175 ebay
Quick Release ... around $175-225 numerous sources

Why spend an extra 450 dollars for the same steering wheel with "Porsche motorsport" written on it?

Just wondering.

Interesting Keith... For $1K, it would hit the wife's radar (she pays the bills)... But for $450, I could categorize it as just another order for brake pads.... hehe!

Damn - now my Christmas list continues is tow items longer... This GT3 thing has already cut into my ski budget for 07/08. (I call it - "reprioritization of the internal resource allocation")

Thanks!

don't know, Gert did not specify...

Why pay more for something with Porsche on it, when you can get the MOMO for less?
couple reasons...
1. wife is paying
2. easier to sell when I put the car back to stock and sell it... larger appeal (I think)
3. I want what I want

Roberga -- it will not be until after Christmas but I will contact you!
