Then you're into it for how much more $$$? Also, the value may not be any higher, the ability to sell it goes down and you'll have additional problems to sort out. Doesn't sound like a good alternative to buying a well set up, low mileage GT3 to me...

At least it's good for something, I hear you're not putting too many miles on it lately.

Don't start using logic on this post....We drive Porsches...any logical person would be in a Hundai. I just mailed off a deposit for the car posted. In addition, I just sold my 993 "well a deposit is in the mail", so this appears to be going so well, im wondering what i did right in my past life. the GT3 has been an Icon car for me...one I thought I could never own. Holy crap, its almost going to happen!!! somebody pinch me!!!

Wow.... that is a smoking hot car for whet seems like a great price. Good luck with the sale. With any luck, I'll be snagging one of these this time next year so my C2 doesn't get lonely.

Ive only been looking for six months....I do feel comfortable with this purchase. Now to be patient on the throttle coming out of turns....I'm already hearing the stories....I come from a history of 914's, 911's, 993, and now a GT3....each one has a learning curve....

Well three that I actually paid to fly in and take a look at, and lets just say when you see stickers on the whole rear suspension "replaced parts" and a crease in the fender well, it was abvious it was wrecked, but not disclosed.

Another I looked at couldn't go down the street in a straight line, the steering wheel was not straight, and no known history "Dealer got it in on a trade"...and the last one, had cut floor boards...Don't ask me why....the owner just smiled and said, " I was hoping you didn't see them".

I had placed my want for a GT3 on the shelf. and go figure, I check Rennlist one last time and this car was for sale....I jumped on it...and figure this, I let a buddy know my 993 was for sale, and I got a deposit from a friend of his in two days. this was just meant to me. as least it feels that way so far. And buying from a PCA member, I feel more comfortable. He has a lift and I have my PPI inspection sheets. should be fine, Andy has been more than accomadating.

Jet: congrats. You got a good car from a great guy. Do you need someone to drive it to your home? :-)

I thought about driving her home myself..but in the winter, I don't feel like guessing on mother nature...Hail, snow, salt on the roads...or I would be driving it home myself...

Thanks for the offer....I have made the trip myself with other cars purchased by friends.

I may drive down to LA and keep the car there until I can get a transport to Ohio.
