John D needs help
Folks,
John and Jen have begun a remarkable project. They are building on orphanage in Haiti. Being the kind of guy he is, John has been low key about this.
He needs our help. His objective is to raise 150,000. That sounds like a big number until you recall that 250,000 people use this site almost daily.
As a community we've done this in the past.
Three years ago The Racer's Group found themselves short of funds to race at LeMans. Rennlist raised $18,000 in 8 days. The Porsche raced LeMans with Rennlist prominent on the spoiler. It also brought visibility to the Nathalie Streather foundation - a story in itself. That was fun. This is more serious.
I don't know where John and Jen get the time nor the energy to do things like this and frankly, I am in awe of them. Let's give them a helping hand.

If we can get enough folks to moderate their braking efforts and kick in 1/2 the cost of a set of front pads we can make a serious dent in John and Jen's bogey. And we'll be faster, too!
