EL GT2

If one was mounted in a 993 with 996 GT3 seats, will this mean that this mount will fit my 996 GT2 with the same types of seats? The person selling can't confirm the part # and this would be a site unseen transaction. Thanks.

Hmmmm ... I have a 993 with OEM 6-GT3 sport seats (not Euro GT3 / fixed back style) ... and want an extinguisher mount for that car. What kind of bracket are you talkin' about there ... is it the same bracket normally sold/fitted to a 993 with 993 seats ... or is it a 996 type bracket.

I guess what I'm asking (I'm tired) is ... does the seat dictate which bracket you need ... or does the car/seat brackets dictate? (does that make any friggin' sense?)

Maybe I need a drink ... or coffee ... or bed ...

I wasn't quite sure - was looking on eBay and found 1 but the guy didn't have a part # I could reference on BreyKrause's site. Based on the description, he had the same seats as mine but his car was a 993. Wasn't sure if the seat bolt pattern is different between these generations.
