Thinking of putting vents on my rear bumper. Sorta like 997 GT3. Any advice?

I am busy here and haven't visited the workshop.
But, they said that it went way better than they had expected, and that the cuts are precise, even and look good. : )
Will post pics..

No other mods needed, cutting and perhaps painting. My shop did an excellent work and the bumper went back unpainted!
I only used the Cup adhesive heat-protection mat for the rear of the bumper (part # R 996.505.481.90) although the cats I'm running are so low and exposed now that I might not need it after all.
To make the side vents operational, I think it's better to remove the side heat shields together with their retaining frames. I did that last year and installed 2 motorsport braces to install the rear bumper. (# 996.505.739.9B)
Functionality wise it's perfect, it looks good and the only thing that you may add is a grill for the openings.
I grabbed a quick pic with the phone. Car is still in the shop in pieces, I installed the cup mirrors and I am preparing the new cage with side bars.

Great thread...I've been messing with different heat-reduction ideas...I'm motivated to keep the car clean looking while venting the rear bumper...what about venting behind the license plate and then standing the plate off with some sano spacers...?
