Very nice Zed. May I ask where you had that done?

Has anyone ever tried this mod in conjuction with the RSR mod? Does anyone around here have any experience with that mod on the 6-GT3? I have it on the black 993 cab and it sounds awesome.

Rennlist member FisterD does these in his sleep...comes highly recommended. Located in Northern California. See posts 237 & 238 on this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...isterd&page=16.

However, I used a guy in my area (West L.A.) but I had to wait about a week because his shop is backed up. PM me for details if you want to go that route.

No need waiting around for a shop.. I chopped, cut and welded myself! Yay! Now just to find time to install em. Thanks to OldGuy by the way for selling me the mufflers!

FisterD in the San Francisco Bay area did my '04 996GT3 exhaust mod last weekend and I like it a lot. Minimal increase in volume but a nicer more aggressive tone and no resonance in the cabin. We have a post-mod video we'll post soon. Unfortunately we didn't do a pre-mod video...too anxious to get started on the work.

I'm running Fabspeed mufflers with Fabspeed Cat bypass pipes on my 4GT3. The car was dyno'ed before and after and I picked up a little HP at the top end with no loss at the low end. I also believe that when you change exhaust it takes your computer a little time to adjust for it, which might explain that "power loss" with straight pipes.

supermonk,
I'd love to hear your silver bullet w/ mod so i can determine if mine warrants the same treatment. Where are you located and do you frequent any places on the Peninsula where we might meet up some time?

MXDAVE74- I'm never down on the Peninsula. Here's a short post-mod video. Turn your sound up the mic wasn't too sensitive.
