2 Seconds? That's fantastic! Last name is Mirzayan, close enough. He's going to start doing private track day lessions at BW by invite only sometime in the fall with another pro instructor/driver. Only 6 driver's in a day.

BTW, his Speed Yellow 996 GT3 is for sale (RS is coming soon). He has it set up beautifully as he is a wizard when it comes to suspension set ups.

I have only let two people drive my Gt3 to date: 1) my best friend who is a Porsche fanatic, and 2) my first ever DE instructor last fall. In both cases, I gave them the evil eye as they drove just to remind them that I was still in charge from the passenger seat.

At this point, I have decided that no one other than a professional driver/instructor should drive my car. End of story. I just have too much to loose. That autocross thread involving the GT3 earlier in the year made up my mind...

I let Mike Levitas drive my 3 and 2. I was in the passenger seat and after I realized how great of a driver he was, I felt like giving him the keys and saying, "Keep it." He took the car to the very edge, it was unbelievable and somewhat humbling. For the record, Mike was the 24 hour at Daytona champion in his class in 2006. Other than that, I occasionally let someone drive it.

Only my wife has ever driven our GT3 or RS, Valet drivers can only direct us to the spot and we will gladly pay the valet fee. BTW, I would appreciate getting details on VJ's SY for sale

I will let people I know drive my GT3. That's only if they are good and responsible drivers.

In the track I only let my best friend take it out on the track. I let him drive it today at SP for one session and I followed him in his Evo(1st time there with the GT3). If it's valet usually let them know front lip with pop off so they usually just park at the main entrance. Regards. Mike

This brings to mind a question. During Suncoast DE's they require that your instructor drive your car a couple laps. Would the instructor, or the club be on the hook for damages should there be any, or am I agreeing that any damages are mine to shoulder even though the club is the one mandating that the instructor drive my car? I've noticed that in other clubs they don't have instructors drive your car.

John: Did you institute this after our (in)famous session at Laguna when GT3 #1 was still nearly virgin? Not even going to ask on the RS...........

I pretty much have an open offer to almost anyone on any of mine, provided s/he is basically skilled, and are going to learn something from the experience. Things like "do I want to modify my car this way" or "is driving a sports racer a life altering experience."

Only a select few people that I can trust and I feel they can handle the car. Jon Groom drove my car and got the car a little sideways in the left hander at LRP, but he was in total control. It is amazing to see a good driver that never drove that particular car be so smooth and fast right out of the box. I would like to see David Murry drive my car at LRP.

well, you and TC are few exceptions. but if your name is FRANK....
and you ARE a MUCH better driver than i.

IIRC, you drove GT3 #2. it was a white one right? when tony gets the RS set up then we can have some fun. perhaps by PDC date. now if i can just find some rotors.

i am afraid that once i drove your radical... i have to file for divorce, buy a trailer, a tow car ........... and move my office to the garages of TH.

Can I drive one of your cars? Out of the garage maybe?
