Hi guys -- I'm looking for some feedback on pricing for the stock seats I removed from my GT3. I've decided to sell them. Although I've searched the site, I haven't been able to find much info on what other members have gotten for seats with the same options (most threads seem to be of the "pm me an offer" variety). So I'm hoping that some of you who have sold similar seats can chime in, or pm me if you prefer. Here are the specs:

2004 GT3 stock sport seats (US market)
Speed Yellow painted seat backs
Speed Yellow deviated stitching
Crest in headrest
Partial power (recline); manual fore/aft

Seats were removed from the car at about 10K miles, and are in terrific shape.

If I didn't love my GT3 euro seats so damn much I'd be interested.

 

Dell -- I agree, the Euro seats are a terrific mod. I love mine as well. But I loved the look of the Speed Yellow seat backs so much that I had my Euro seats disassembled and the shells painted to match. Turned out beatifully.

By the way, I should have asked earlier, how the heck do you guys post pictures here? Even as a member my picture size limit seems to be 200K, and all my pics are at least 650K. Any help?

Here are some pics of the seats. I'll post a "for sale" thread in the 996 and Boxster forums once I have some pricing data.

 

You should expect $1,500.00 and up for those.

I think it should be a little higher than the numbers mentioned. I sold a pair of black ones with no deviated stitching, no painted seat back, no crest, for 1,900 two years ago.

 

Richard, I sold mine 1 1/2 years ago for $2,500. Mint condition, full power (every direction), painted seat backs, no crest or deviated stitching.
