GT3 Ruined in Autocross
I'm not sure if this has been posted. But here's a GT3 ruined in an Autocross.

Well, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, but let me hijack this thread and tell you a story (it did not really happen, as far as I know, just a story I heard)...
A few years ago a guy was at an autocross with an S2000. There were a host of Pcars there as it might have been a PCA event, including a GT2 driven by an orthopedic surgeon. The s2000 completed its runs and was parked off the course, on an access road (perpendicular to the finish line, about 30 yards to the left), while the GT2 was running. The GT2 ran very aggessively, and rather than taking it easy through the final gate (which was close to the timers and spectators on this fairly tight course), he hit the gas to try to win the thing, lost it, overcorrected, missed the timers and spectators by about 5 feet (while travelling fairly quickly), and slammed into that poor S2000. Both cars were totalled. Noone was seriously hurt.
The orthopod gets out of the GT2, and the first thing he says is, "What was my time?"
Nice. He was banned from future events.
I ought to write a novel.
