if you want the LOOK of a roll bar, you can get whatever you like.
if you want the SAFETY of a roll bar, this is not what you want.
it's not triangulated, why bother?

People who sell you things can tell you lots of nice stories about the benefits of their product.

I would recommend the Dasport one (harness bar there) since it ties to the rear strut(also PCA will alow such bar for racing(PCA TT) if used with racing adapters- can't say that for the techquip bar x brace or none- wo cross brace or harness - it's junk. No problem putting stuff back there since(Das sport) has no cross brace since tied into rear strut. That no harness bar/cross bar will not do ne stiffening to chassis cept stiffen your chance of winning the case against the manufacturer of that liability piece of do do(physics will tell you in a rollover it will bend at the weakest point which is the middle- forward or backward to your head). Regards. Mike

the GT3 tub is very very stiff.
the bar you mentioned may stiffen it up mimimally, but you will not notice it. in fact, even a beefy bar will be barely noticeable unless you start to drive the car hard on track, and at that point, the non diag tequipment would be even more pointless, no?
i apologize, i am not aiming at you on purpose, but i really dont think that bar is worth considering at all. at the min. get the tequipment bar WITH the harness bar and diag bar.

I wouldn't worry about cutting carpet if u think your life is worth it. I have the Das sport and I cut the middle section off and still looks good and I'm safe in it. Holger's tech bar gotta harness/cross bar and I feel it's much safer IMO versus the the other one. I had the sparco harness bar only at one time and I felt it would give me cleavage on my head in a case of a roll over( other circumstances cleavage is good!!). I changed it immediatedly for something important- my life. And the secret to protecting yourself in a half roll cage get planted close to the roll cage(head back to seat) as possible rather then positioning forward : )( the no harness bar/x brace- "the 'jaws of life" used by fire department aint for the doors only. I gotta agree with the others here. As Mike said, I've got the TE bar with the cross brace and I'm happy with it although it's not the best solution. I didn't notice any change in chassis stiffness after installing it and think the bar without the cross brace is a complete waste of time & money.
