Question Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD07

These will be going on my GT3 pretty soon. Anyone have any experience with them on the GT3?

Yes, great tire. Lots of personal drive time on them, on my cars, and others. Top of the line Yoko. You will be impressed.

No worries in Cali, but keep them warm. These tires CANNOT get cold and be driven on (like 14 degrees).

Put these on my GT3 last year along with a proper setup, corner weight, etc. They are awesome and outperform the MPS2 in all areas. Also, one great thing about them is that they can be swapped left to right for more life which is something that you can't do with the MPS2 so while they are softer, they still last longer!

You mean flipped on the rim correct? You can swap the left side for the right and vis a vis. But....PS2's are not directional but they are insdie/outside dependent.

What size are you using for your car? I just looked at the MPS2s on tirerack.com and they are upto $428 each for the rears. Ouch.

Big John, I have been caught in the wet with them, but in a C4S. They felt good though. Never had to think twice about the speed.

Hey Houston, stock size 235/40/18 fronts - 295/30/18 rears ($357).

I like mine in the wet, equal or better than the PS2.

I run the OEM sizes.

I mean exhange the left with the right maintaining the same rotational direction. The Yok is directional but does not have an inside and outside. The PS2 can not be moved as there is a left and right specific tire.

The PS2 does NOT have a Left and Right specific tire (ie, directional). The only have inside and outside requirements. You can place the L front on the R front and vice versa.

I find the AD07 to be as close to a R compond as a street tire can be.

Huh??? I think you are getting confused with front vs. rear and the left vs. right we are talking about.

+1!

The only tire I have found to be stickier that is grooved is the Avon tire on my new Caterham. I know nothing about them other than they are softer and throw rocks EVERYWHERE like an R compound but have tread.
