Hey Joe do you have a pic of the EVO piece? There's two "EVO linkages" or at least people call them the same thing. One is their SSK and one indeed replaces the piece on the left in the picture. Drop James@sharkwerks.com and Email since he probably has a stash of all these parts at the shop. The 997GT3 one does feel really nice. For the 996 side of the fence porsche actually used the B&M kit for their "sport shifter" option (minus a couple of bushings due to noise). For the 997, they went their own way...

Mine is just the link as seen on their site, not their entire kit. I emailed Evo to see if they sold the needle bearings separately. Haven't heard back from them. I'll email James. Thanks

Ok I see... well that shifter linkage isn't something that actually changes the "feel" per se. All that does is replace a somewhat weak point in the linkage. On the older 996s, the ball joint tends to fail/crack and then you can't shift anymore...
