Default 2007 GT3 for sale in Norwalk,CA

Thought this may interest some, I though these were ordered and reserved? Why are there some without current buyers?

Perhaps they are adding a HUGE markup?

The car in Norwalk is at McKenna. They are Pirates. They like to mark up their cars and call it "Current Market Value" F&^&K Them. I will never ever buy anything from them. These are the same people that when i was 32 and went in for a test drive, told me they don't do test drives on weekends! Have you ever heard crap like this? I said no problem, went and ordered the car, that day at another dealer.

Bunch of D&ck Heads!

The dealer down here in Tampa, Reeves, tells me they have never sold a Porsche over list. This includes CGTs, GT2s, GT3s, Turbos, etc. I mentioned this to someone on the board here. He called them on it (after experiencing Carlsen with the $$$s and the wait for a GT3) and yep his white GT3 is in port and on its way to CA in time for Christmas.

I talked to my dealer last thur. and he had contacted the zone rep wondering why there are dozens of allocated cars on the dealer sight going to dealers unsold.

The GT3 market is different this time around. For North America there was no GT3 until the 996 GT3 Mark II, hence higher demand for that new model. This time a GT3 buyer can chose from new or used GT3 models. Also a few buyers dumped the GT3 for the GT3 RS.

I e-mailed them. MSRP is $125,070

Here's the reply:

Hi, Holger
Attached, please find pictures of the car and the sticker,
Price = M.S.R.P. + $5k
Let me know if interested,

Update....

Me: "Not interesting in paying above MSRP."

Them: "If I sold you this car for M.S.R.P. when would you pay for it and pick it up?"

So does that mean that if you pay above MSRP, they will deliver? And I'm sure they will help break it in that way too...

I'm sure you're right, but they don't know if I'm down the street or across the country.

I'd have to be crazy or swimming in money to swap my GT3 for that one...and I'm neither of those right now (ok, maybe the first one is up for debate ) .

Holger, I am in the same place. I will keep mine at least until 08. The only way I will go sooner is when the 997s start showing up in the secondary market. Maybe a press car??
