elh, don't worry about him. I think you will find a lot of hard core 911 fans here, but most of us are fair and respect the competition and the rilvalry. I hang out on corvetteforum in the racing/de section sometimes and most of the guys there are very cool. I know quite a few of them from the track.

Roberga was kidding (at least I think so). M3 and New Vettes are very fine cars. I had some time behind the wheel of a 99 M3. That was a lot of fun on the road. I would be delighted to own one. Of course, i would never trade my GT3 for one or even two M3s or even an M3 and a Z06.

Thanks folks, and certainly no apology needed for the cars. As I said, I have not yet driven a GT3, but after driving a couple of Carrera S cars, I'm pretty sure a Porsche of some description will be my next car. Given my appreciation of track-competent cars, I'm sure I will fall in love with the first GT3 I drive.

Without question. Once you drive one you'll know it's for you. Truly a fantastic car. I lusted for one for a long time. I was lucky enough to have a person I consider a friend let me drive one on track. I couldn't stop thinking about the GT3 for 9 months. I finally broke down and bought one. I've never owned a P-Car before and never really had a great desire to do so, but one drive on track is all it took.
Now I still can't stop thinking about it as it sits in my garage and can't wait for the next track event. When the track day is over, I get depressed as I know it will be a while before the next event. That's how special this car is, at least to me.

It is a false and unfair perception, so why further it? Have a nice holiday, and I'll do the best I can with my lowly pig.
