The most critical item is the toe link. Unexpected changes on rear toe can send you to the armco before you even notice. This change alone will improve driveability on your 996 GT3.
After that, you can install the 2-piece control arm from the 996/997 RS and adjust rear camber with shims only. Another alternative is to install the ERP A-arm links, instead of the Porsche MotorSport A-arms. The best alternative is to install the FabCar two-piece A-Arm (strongest one so far), and adjust camber with shims.
On my car I've the GT3 Cup toe links, RS two-pieces control arms and shims, ERP solid bushings on the control arms (F/R), Porsche MotorSports monoball bearing flanges (F/R), AP Racing upper monoball control arms, TRG rear monoball strut mount. All the rubber from the suspension has been eliminated.
The last time my car was aligned at the rear was at the beggining of June this year. We have checked the rear alignment before the SCCA Nationals, and three weeks ago. It's at the same spot for Toe and Camber. The front alignment has moved due to the front links, those links can be replaced by rear GT3 Cup toe links, and the front alignment will stay longer.

Racers' Edge has recently developed spherical bearing cartridges, camber plates, and solid mounts and bushings for the 996 as well. The cartridges replace all the rubber bushings that you find in the front and rear of these cars (996, Boxster, 997, and Cayman) and are also legal for PCA club racing as they install into the original factory arms. We should have them on the site soon.
