20K with <100 miles track time. Bought it for purity in the older 911's I loved.

Switching to MPSC's on the street this weekend. If I get much "purer" I'll have to get my fillings replaced.

More track time coming up though.

MPSC's suck on the street. Sidewalls way too stiff & they don't usually get up to proper temperature. Generally not a good idea for street driving.

You're probably right about the MPSC's being less than wonderfull for the street. That's the basis for my getting my fillings replaced coment. I'm sure the ride will be even more harsh.

I mounted them up because I have a couple of track events coming up and I didn't feel like dealing with another set of wheels although I should get off my butt and go get some to do it right..

I did exactly the same, came to the identical conclusion and recently bought another set of wheels.

Like I said, MPSC's for the street is a mistake IMO. Been there, done that.

32,500 miles, with about 12,000 miles on track, mostly at the Nurburgring. The car is quite heavily modified (engine, exhaust, suspension, aero) and has performed faultlessly. Amazing quality of engineering.

I lied! 20,470 now, and re-outfitting it for the track. Was going to run my motorcycle on the track to satisfy my need for speed, but totaled the bike (and banged myself up pretty good). Have bought back most everything I need plus. Just need to get my body back in working order. May not get back to the track this year, but will next.
