that's not a safecraft fe tho....you need an adaptor (BK) bracket for the safecraft and the safecraft billet mount....

IMHO Bk brackets are too expensive. I did exactly like BobbyC, with the safecraft quick release and got two "add on rings" from BSR products. The quick release I got it from mygaragestore.com.

How exactly does the Pro-werks universal clamp attach to the Safecraft bracket? The universal clamps look to be 2 piece, but I can't see the screw mechanism from the pics.
Cheers

Recommended to me by the folks at Safecraft (they stock them too). Lines up perfectly with the holes in the Safecraft bracket.
Only issue is that the bar diameter is metric (I can't recall the size offhand) and the Pro-werks stuff isn't. I used a sliver of radiator hose to make up the slight difference and it also keeps the bar from getting scratched up.

My set up is the same as Holger. Since I couldn't buy directly from pro-werks, I ended up buying the clamps from BSR products.
Thanks again!!

Thanks, Holger.
Nice pics of your install. I have an I/O port mount in the same place as yours, so I plan to install the extinguisher on the cross bar.
I didn't want to put the extinguisher in the passenger footwell... heck, I can't even reach the passenger footwell when I'm strapped in.
Reaching back to the cross bar is pretty easy.
Cheers
