The last few times I have had the factory tour (all with different guides) they still claim that all the cars are customer orders with deposits. I know they want to brag about exclusivity but who do they think they are fooling? Porsche Dealerships spec and order plenty of cars every year without a customer. They can option them up (more profit) and usually sell them without much of a problem.
I guess it is semantics and Porsche AG Dealerships are not partners, just customers !
