I was skeptical too, but statistically speaking, I've gotten longer life out of mine. Perhaps I'm breaking less as I keep pushing the boundries, but they're always smoking when I climb out after a run....

I was wondering about this also. Perhaps related to the actual cryo process/procedure which is company specific?
