Default Aerokit/Stickers Question (Parts)

Question 1:

Will the GT Side trims from the Aerokit 1 fit a MK2 GT3 Rear bumper?
I believe I have seen them on a 40th anniversary 911...

Question 2:

Where does one acquire replacement stickers for the ones originally included on the front trunk and rear engine cover?

Hmm, good question on the aero. The stickers are available via PCNA however...

Part numbers as follows:

Trunk:
996.701.287.54

Engine Bay:
996.006.107.91
996.006.120.00
996.006.544.01

Let me know if you need pricing.

Just an update, the GT Side Trim will absolutely NOT fit a 2002-After 996.

They are very contour hugging and require drilling with stencils into the bumper.

Also, the pieces are quite heavy, 5-10 pounds each, not worth it at all!

Hey Tom,

I have the GT side trim on my mk. 1 but wonder how they mount? Any chane you could send me a PM of what you saw?

Basically need to know if it is the bolts or the nuts are recessed in to the trim piece.

It would really make my day if I could get my hands on the stencil(s) as well!

Ciao,

J.

Johannes, the stencil comes in the "Kit" and the bolts are recessed into the trim piece.

I dont have a copy of the stencil because i had to dealer return it to the factory.

Possibly the only way is to order the kit, copy them, without disturbing the rest and then return it?

I dont think it has a part number by itself.

Do it from good vendor with a good return policy.

That, or you can probably ask Gert @ Carnewal if he has them in stock and can send you a proper copy?
