Who is Franz Blaum?
Hello! I'm relatively new to this forum. I've been reading for about 3 months but haven't contributed much. I just bought my 1st GT3 from www.winningcollection.com and I figured it was time to chime in.
2004 White, PCCB, roll bar, euro seats with alcantara inserts, Fabspeed exhaust, extra racing exhaust with cat bypass, original exhaust, full extinguisher system (driver, passenger, and engine), blue harnesses, original seats, extra set of wheels with ps2's, and a suspension set up and fender roll by Blaum Racing.
Does anybody have any experience with Blaum Racing??? I recently sold my GT2 and it was VERY low to the ground. So low I was barely able to get it up my driveway. I'm concerned that the car will be prohibitely low and will have to be raised in order to get it up my drive way. The problem is, I don't have any experience with suspension adjustments and it seems pretty technical. In short, I don't want to screw it up...especially if this Franz Blaum guy knows what he's doing.
Expected driving:
Track Duty (4-5 track days a year plus autocross)
Daily driver (when dry)
I would appreciate your comments.

I've got a bunch of track days coming up at Thunderhill in the next 2 months that I'll be bringing the GT3 to. PM me if you're interested in going to the track this year & maybe we can hook up.

Thanks Guys.
Holger B...I'm planning on heading to Thunder Hill on Oct. 13th with the Hooked on Driving crew. Unfortunately I don't have time before b/c I'm heading off to Italy in a couple weeks...Right around the same time the car is being delivered.

One more question...
Ride height on GT3 115mm front, 128mm rear...What is the ride height on the GT2? I barely made it up the driveway with the GT2 will it be any different for the GT3?

If memory serves me right Franz Blaum was a noted Pro race engine builder back in the 70's. Built RSR motors for the IMSA series. Just call and ask if it's the same guy. If it is, you're in the right place. Might have even worked for Jim Hall of Chaparral fame

It is the same guy. Great shop and great service on Porsches. Their shop is a walk through Porsche history with lots of cool old racing Porsches.
