GT2 trunk temperature
Now that I have lived with the GT2 for a while, I noticed that the trunk lid near the latch area, as well as the trunk itself, are quite a bit hotter than the Turbo.
It is not burning your hands hot, but it is more than warm.
Is this normal due to the less insulation? Different radiator placement? Or is my car needing an el doctor visit?
Thanks.

Well, I guess it falls under "they all do that" category.

Hot Trunk - GT3
Yep it gets hot...damn hot.
I suggest you make the best of it and perhaps look into some slow cook recipies for the ride - have a picknick and enjoy perhaps beef stroganof out of trunk.
N ot good for holding ice or beer.

I will try leaving my turkey sandwich that my wife packs me in there in the morning. By the time I get to work it should be nice and marinated by the pepper jack cheese that will then be melted.
OK, no cold beer, no raw fish, no groceries. Oh well, small sacrifice compares to PSM, AWD, and sunroof.

OK, so the next time that I do the Death Valley cannon ball run, I will wrap some raw beef in Al foil for slow cooking.
