GT3 cup production
I just bought an unraced 2005 GT3 cup car, I was curious how may were produced in 2005 and or any of the other years? I would imagine around 100 per year world wide for the cup car.

Some years the production is close to 300. It all depends on how many series will need new cars. I think 2006 was a 'big' year. Call Martin Warth at Weissach for the exact number.

THis being the case, I don't know why you would want to dirve your Cup Car on the street as it is a considerable investment and not the kind of thing that you want to hit pot holes and expansion joints with. That being said, we do the above to run our race car up and down the highway to sort out any issues before an event if there is no time to take it to the track so there are benifits to being able to do it every now and then.

Though, remember the car is not manufacturer approved. So if you import it to another country, you might get problems depending on the country.
