Anyone guess as to the cost of such a project? Maybe $20K-$30K?

Isn't there a mk2 version floating around too? Sure I've seen pics somewhere!

All body parts for either RS or RSR coversion -- about 10K. About 30 day delivery.
The race bits-- how far do you want to go?

Hmmn... Fenders, front and rear bumper covers, decklid, R wing, lightweight doors (?) F splitter and vanes, headlights, big brakes, hubs and wheel carriers, wider wheels, etc. It's going to cost a ton. Check with Mike Shaw on composites. Forget Albert -- pricey and unresponsive to U.S. inquiries.

I have never had any issues dealing with Jurgen at Albert Tuning.

Why not just buy Porsche motorsports parts, likely the best quality over any aftermarket companies?

It looks nice, but why? Now it is a really marginal street car and still not as good as a real racecar.

Porsche = much more expensive. like many things-- the composites are contracted outside supp;iers-- so why pay a premium?

Is Shaw the place where you got the front light weight hood on Jon's car?
