Default GT3 seat install....battery disconnect or just key out of ignition, ok?

Title says it all. Is the key out of the ignition sufficient or do I need to disconnect the battery as well?

TIA

The air bag is activated by the key in the ignition.
That's why so many air bag lights after changing seats, the steering wheel or doing the OBC hack.

Yup, just key out, put it in the door. Don't listen to the radio during the procedure
Also during the procedure if you flip the door latches to "closed" the lights on the doors will turn off to save the battery. To unlatch, just lift the handle as if you were opening a closed door.

I went ahead and disconnected the bar since I had the harness bar, the seats, and a few other misc projects. All done though.

Appreciate the input from everybody!

Of to the track in the morning :brunout:

Please, pardon my ignorance. What's an oil/air separator?

Try asking if Porsche would cover it using the "Good Will" program.
