Default White GT3 @ Thuderhill last Friday? NE1 here?

I was at Thunderhill last Friday and saw a white 996 GT3 that was running in the novice group I think. Just curious if it was anybody here???

Saw a white 997 that looked a lot like the the 997 GT3 (same front and rear bumper, wing, etc.)...whos car is that and whats the deal?

Also, saw a nice new 997 CS too...black. Fun running with ya! Tim

Nope. I am planning to instruct for Hooked on Driving this Friday though...4/7 at THill....
I can't swing this Thursday, unfortunately. I am lucky I am able to get out at all!

After that, I am scheduled to instruct with Unlimited Laps at Thill on 4/28. That's all I got on the books for now....I will start looking at my May track calendar soon. Tim

Tim,

Were you at B'willow last month with HOD ? I was there with my RS6 and plan to take my 99 C2 to T-hill this Friday. I'll be needing some instruction since this is my first time out with the P-car on the track. I'll look for you there.

No, I was not there. But i will be there Friday as will my buddy with his RSA. Look for us in the covered area should it be a wet day. We will be there early as we have a "coaches mtg" at 0715.

You can look for me BUT, I am still new to the GT3. I have about 8 years track experience, but mostly in M3's. The GT3 is a new animal to me, so if you are looking for "focused" instruction for a P car, I am prolly not the best guy to help yoU! I could use a few tips myself with this car! HA!

What group do you plan to run in? This time they are doing:

A - Novice
B- Int.
C- Adv.
D- Instructors and "racecars" (I can run in any group though...so I prolly won't do too many in sessions in this group if there are a lot of racecars--I would rather run in a more evenly speed matched group). I will prolly start in C and see how it goes. like I said, i am new to the P-Car too, so I aint up to speed in it yet! Still learing her intracacies!

David Ray asked if I'd like to run in C.... I told him I'd be more comfortable with the A/B crowd since its my 1st time out the the C2. I've had the car for almost 8 years but haven't had it to the track. The track time I do have has been in the Audi... which is kinda like driving the C2 in reverse or something. I also have Sid's brother at home, but I'm not ready to take him to the track until I get some seat time in the C2. See you Friday.

A friend of mine is going on Easter (M coupe)....not I though. The wife and 4 year old just wouldn't understand. lol.

Fongster -- Dev (coordinator) emailed me that they have over 80 cars right now, so they are nearly full. They might take a care or two in the morning though....you never know. It is kind of hard to turn away a car you know....I mean, its only ONE more. haha. you should give it a shot! The more (GT3's) the merrier!
