Default Source for longer lug bolts?

Hey guys, I'm in need of a set of longer lugs for a set of track wheels and am having trouble sourcing them locally (ohio) Would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. TIA. Shrews

I needed longer lug bolts for my f-car. Instead of paying $70 PER BOLT from the manufacturer, I went with H&R bolts.

Bought them from ECS tuning, which is an H&R dealer

http://www.ecstuning.com/HR/appguide...gi?qt=studbolt

They have an online guide for how to measure the bolt you need, and lots of other good info. Bought 20 for $4.95 apiece (plus shipping)

vty,

I thought the Cayenne lugs were the same length as the 911 ones. If needed I can verify in about 45 mintues when the wife gets home with the car.

i was at porsche with a tech and at first look they are the same "length" - but the actual threaded area is longer - you have to measure from the end of the bolt to the thread, don't include the head size or the little washer deal (im sure im using not one iota of proper terminoly here...). they gave them to me to run with 5mm spacers and they gave me free ones, vs the ones that come with the spacer kit for a few hundred.

Good catch. Didn't think to look at it that way. But my question would be.....even if there is more thread available but the bolt is not any longer then how in the world does it fit properly against the floating washer??? Am I missing something? Probably so since I am only on my 1st cup of java

the washer has the same shape but to my recollection in shorter/thinner. so it matches up fine agains the wheel. the head of the bold is also a little thinner. 5mm is not a lot. all you really need is the thread to go further into the wheel mount.
