It was brought in under the "show car" provision, has yet to be modified to US specs to stay here as a permanent resident. Sounds like a hassle

I always wondered how you get in & out of those seats with that bar there? It's hard enough without that thing in the way.

Yes, it was brought in under SHOW AND DISPLAY but seems to be converted??
It has the EPA & DOT Releases. Once the vehicle is sold to whomever than it will be titled under that persons' name. You don't have to do any EPA & DOT at all. US Government appointed Conversion Stations here in East Coast Certify and do all necessary paperwork along with labor to 48 state specifications. If CA is a state of registration, than the vehicle goes through Conversion Station in CA and certify that the Vehicle Really In Fact was Certified. And they charge you $ 2,500.- or $ 5,000
