I read somehwere that something like 2/3 or some figure like that have been totaled, dont bet on it but have seen and read about many of them damaged beyond repair. Add that to the already low volume why arent they holding their value as one would expect. I know all cars deappreciate from the moment you take the keys but something so rare ? Maybe if we hold on to them for another 10 years they will go up or is that wishful thinking, what does everyone think about that.

I think you will see the values in GT2's turn around in less than 5 years, especially since Porsche has no plans to build a 997 Gt2 and the Turbo coming out next year is not supposed to be a better performer than the 996 GT2. I don't think they will be going down much more than they have now. I have seen 02's below $110k but I doubt a nice one would ever go under$100. Hold on to yours any youll be fine....
