USA Sales - per historic post information refering to Porsche sales release figures
2002 = 184
2003 = 90
2004 = 20
2005 = 5
Total 299

Don't know about ROW.

WOW, 299 cars, and these things can't hold value? I have no idea how that is possiable. The GT2 is an awesome car. It is a shame.

I read somehwere that something like 2/3 or some figure like that have been totaled, dont bet on it but have seen and read about many of them damaged beyond repair. Add that to the already low volume why arent they holding their value as one would expect. I know all cars deappreciate from the moment you take the keys but something so rare ? Maybe if we hold on to them for another 10 years they will go up or is that wishful thinking, what does everyone think about that.

BB,
I think you will see the values in GT2's turn around in less than 5 years, especially since Porsche has no plans to build a 997 Gt2 and the Turbo coming out next year is not supposed to be a better performer than the 996 GT2. I don't think they will be going down much more than they have now. I have seen 02's below $110k but I doubt a nice one would ever go under$100. Hold on to yours any youll be fine....

The Gt2 will hold its value above 100k for sure regardless if there's going to be a 997 GT2. Just look at the value of the 993 Gt2.
