i thought 959 were illegal in the U.S or am I wrong?

i have a feeling that the 959 has us number plates

 

you can bring them in under the show and shine exemption - HOWEVER they still have to meet EPA mandates for 89' - there is one ICI which does the work (profiled in excelence a few years ago) for 50-75K or there abouts.
there a a few in Malibu and 2 up here (Biilg has an areana red one)

 

Biilg == Bill Gates, and he was very instumental in getting the US Govt to agree to allow
the 959 to be approved....
