Nice pics! Thanks. I planned on going months ago...months BEFORE i had a hernia. I had my operation on Monday and just wasn't up to driving several hours AND walking around the track, lol.

I did manage to watch it on Speed though, so all was not lost. Thanks again for the pics....wish i coulda been there. Tim

Since this thread is still alive.........here's one of the only hitch the Spyder seemed to have all weekend (and just after I showed up Friday). I didn't catch which driver, but while 2nd on the false grid for afternoon practice, he stalled it and killed the battery. At that point I was kinda wondering if that was some kind of sign......

Highlight for me was seeing my latest purchase winning the most exciting of the weekend's races. No, unfortunately not a Porsche.

It was a beautiful weekend although I could have done without my car getting wacked in turn 3-4....I met Skip-in-Boulder, and a few other Rennlisters....

Had no idea I was bumping into another list'er when we ran into each other in Carmel, then up by turn 5 where Bob came to a rest after the contact! Hope all is easily repairable. As I said before, I'll make sure to point you by when you come up to lap me sometime in one of my back-of-the field 911's

Feel free to correct me if I'm doing something naughty in linking here, but a 51meg quicktime movie worth of photos is at a friend's site:

http://www.justracing.com/about_us/news.php#13

and 120 photos from who I have to believe is another Rennlister at:

http://www.dleong.org/2005/track/almsls/almsls.htm

My photos were just point and slam down the shutter button with my brand new Canon Rebel XT w/ ISM 70-300 lens. Amazing. I shot about 6-700, of which I'd guess 50-70 are decent. If anyone's interested.........they ARE 8 megapixel.
