Default Crashed GT3 at Road Atlanta this weekend?

Just got an e-mail from a friend saying that he was riding with someone in an E30 M3 this weekend at Road Atlanta and a GT3 lost it and went into the barrier this weekend. Heard that everyone was ok, so that is the good news. Bad news is the GT3 is toast. Was it anyone here? Sorry to hear the news if it was someone on RL [heck, I'm sorry to hear the news regardless]

Sad, but true. I rode with him first session Sunday, but on the first hot lap of the second session, he lost it going up the hill to turn 2. Minor injuries to driver & passenger due to belts & airbag. And I was just thinking about how much I wanted one.

What event was this? There's a PCA event at the end of the month. What color 3 was it, I only know of about 6 in the area?

Turn two is one that will bite you in the backside if you don't have it right

Peachtree BMW DE. It was Atlas Grey.

I'll be doing the Peachstate PCA event as well, if I can get my car straightened out. I parked it after the steering locked up in turn 5.

That's at least the second GT3 to bite the dust at Road Atlanta.

Ya, not too bad, bet there is nothing structural. Damn airbags are costly though. Could be nearly 10 grand just there!

I know that guy. Its a shame. He's a very good driver. Very smooth and safe. I have rode with him twice.
