Hey Chris, you were right on the money. I just talked to my service guy and before I had a chance to say anything he told me about the service bulletin. He says it is pretty easy and it should take just a few minutes...

I am taking my car tomorrow...

I get a loud clang when I back out of my garage every day as the car first starts moving.
I figured it was the brake pad jiggling.

Default Technical Bulletin

Attached is a tech bulletin dated 3/28/2005 suggesting a Porsche fix for GT2 and GT3 Heim joint noises. With about 4,000 miles on the clock I have not noticed this noise from the strut coils turning. I think this is the boing that I heard once upon a time.

What I still do hear is the groaning from the right front when the suspension compresses. You can listen to my noise attached to message #20 above (or CLICK HERE ). Let me know if you have a suggestion for this noise!

(Other than muffler by-pass pipes or Torrington Thrust bearings, neither of which the dealer is likely to do under warranty....)
