need to buy brake fluid what and where??

the r32s pedal is soft need to bleed them also the GT2s fluid has been in there for 2+ yrs. what brand and type do i use and where to buy? thanks carl

For the GT2 run Castoral SRF - you can buy through any Porsche shop. That is the best fluid.

SRF will mix with dot4 just fine but it is best to drain the reservoir out first and then flush the remaining out via the calipers. Just let it flow for a bit after the old is removed.

Castrol SRF is the best (and it is DOT4) but my personal opinion is that it is wasted if you are going to go 2+ years between flushes and aren't tracking the car. In fact, most people who track probably don't need it either.
For ordianary street use, even of a GT2, off-the-shelf DOT4 is just fine.
The one exception might be if you have ceramic brakes and tend to get them really hot. Then SRF makes sense. But even then, you need to be flushing the system at a maximum of one year and probably more frequently than that.

srf is great stuff because of the high WET boiling point, which means you don't have to change it out as often. The motul 5.1 I beleive is second but the WET boiling point is significantly lower albeit cheaper. If you change out your fluid often then motul is a cheaper alternative. You can get it at most motorcycles shops.

How well do you guys think the stock brakefluid will cope with track driving (Porsches own)?

My stock fluid was terrible, at least the regular junk they throw in the c2's etc, (I boiled it in malibu). I then replaced it with super blue. As far as I know the stock fluid for the gt3 is the same as the turbo which is roughly equivalent to super blue. It is ok for street driving/light tracking. I doubt most people would have such a problem of boiling it especially since the gt3 has better brake cooling. On the track it seemed to work ok, enough to waste a set of stock pads, but definitely gave a spongey pedal after a while and while driving home. I do agree it is important to change out the fluid more often but the srf should be better hydroscopically than the stock with such a high wet boiling point. Therefore you wouldn't probably need to change it out as much but might want to rebleed it.

that's what I found with the stock fluid versus the SRF. I had stock, and found it does go off a little after about 30 mins at the track. When I switched to Brembo's racing fluid I found the brakes felt crisp and the pedal never changed it's feel or position (depth to bite).
Due to a recent regular Porsche service I have the stock fluid in once again, and again I find it spongy, and as it gets hot you get a lot more pedal travel. (using RS-19 pads, BW & WSIR.)

I've driven stock C2's at tracks around the country hauling the car down from 120+ time after time with NO problems!
What's your secret to boiling in Malibu?
