Default Sound deadening material

How much of it does the car have, how much does it weigh and is it a pain to remove it?

Based on the "tinny" sound when I close my doors I'm thinking there's not much sound deadening material in a GT3, or definitely not in the roof. For sure there's no undercoating spray (hence the 4yr vs. 10yr rust warranty) and the carpets are also thinner according to the dealer sales training material.

The GT3 has minimal sound insulation to begin with.

We really only get a 4 yr rust v. 10 yr for all other 996's?

I forgot to look in my manual, but there are a couple of threads on this here, including this one.
