Finn: Sorry, didn't mean to impy you'd believe everything a dealer told you.

Just put me in the camp that believes the GT3 is the best 911 Porsche has built since 1973 (well maybe the GT3 RS is but that wasn't an option in the US) and I'm damned happy to have one. If Porsche builds one better in the future, more power to them. I'm gonna enjoy what I've got now.

Steve,

I couldn't agree with you more!! I don't understand how some of these individuals do it. They buy a car and immediately start worrying about the next itteration of it...or the ones that won't buy this one (whatever the current model is) becuase they heard a rumor that the next is going to be better so they're going to wait for that one! Might as well not buy anything ever because the next one is usually better than the current one.

So I'm with you, whatever happens, happens meanwhile I'll be enjoying this one!!!

Steve,

No problem.

I think GT3RS is just awesome machine but personally like 993 RSR (some call it clubsport) better than GT3RS (I'd compare 993 RS to 996 GT3 & 993 RSR to GT3 RS).

Although ultimate 911 badass title has to go to 993 GT2, no question in my mind about it.

Cheers!

Hard to argue but for me it's the 996 GT3 RS...

That's a GT2 that will hardly depreciate.

Anyway, for the price to pay for one of those, I'll take a 996GT2 with composite body parts, lighter wheels and ligther exhaust down to 2800lbs.
