re: the ECU print out you mentioned, is this report the "Working Log"? I have that report which shows Counter ignition 0/1...not stage 1/2. any thoughts?

Ask for a Vehicle Analysis log printout. This will more info than you know what to do with, expect 8 or 9 pages.

 

That is just what I got when I asked for a ECU printout, and there was also no indication of an over-rev. The sales guy mentioned a GT2 that had been badly over-revved and blew the engine. He said that the owner got to pay installation, but that Porsche supplied a replacement engine. I took that story to mean that the Working Log showed what I wanted it to show!
