Anybody get the console delete with the leather trim piece? My dealer can get plastic or leather and I'm undecided on which way to go with a "full moo" interior.

My dealer ordered 996 552 127 00 A11, supposedly the leather piece that fits in front of the shifter. The parts fiche indicate that number, but when it arrived, it was the piece for behind the console lid. Anyone know the correct part number or if the shifter cover is available in leather?

I have a full console delete kit from Gert, I NEVER installed it. It is sitting here and will be more then happy to sell it to you. It cost me about $110, I will sell for $100 shipped any where.

JMcD, where did you get your leather trim piece for $30..?? According to Phil at Suncoast here is the part number and price for the leather trim piece.

I have the plastic one now that comes with the delete console and wanted to see what the leather one looked like since I have the leather interior. Anyway, it has been on order since 10/1 and I have not received it as of yet.

Campy, I got it from Gert last year when I ordered the kit. Keep in mind, US dealers do not have the means to OE Euro parts or Motorsport parts. Since, you have the plastic trim, try to find a leather shop to fit it with a black leather match, or call Gert.

IMHO... No point getting the leather trim piece unless you have a leather covered center console. I would also consider the leather piece if I had a painted or CF center console. I just think the leather trim piece is to small by itself to use with the plain black plastic center console.

Hi folks, the part my dealer received has the part number 996-552-127-00 stamped on it and part number 996-552-127-00-A11 on the box. It is for the rear section of the console.

The only GT3 console deletes I have seen are the cloth.

forgive the stupid question...but which part of the console is being deleted? the part with the cd trays and heated seat buttons?

Dealer called with the bad news. The leather console delete was discontinued (deleted?) due to lack of demand.

Not to go too OT, but US dealers can most definately source OE euro parts. Motorsports is a different thing. I have never had an issue getting euro parts. In fact, some euro parts are even stocked in the US distribution centers.
