Thanks...that's exactly what I was trying to determine. I'm definitely not interested in PASM if I'm going to be forced to rely on or second guess a computer. I'm looking for the purity of the GT3; perhaps the European 997S no-cost non-PASM "sport suspension" option will make its way here, and provide a reasonable compromise.

Philip in AL, I think the guys that are running for most track days are probably mooty and Wreck Me Otter who are both running about 30+ days for the year. I've had about 16 this year (since April) and hoping to squeeze one or two more in before the end of the year.

icerbofh if I can include PDE and 6 days in shifter carts I'm at 35 so far, and I have a full 10 more to go till the new year.
Today's torrential rain also pushed me over the edge, I went and bought a Prius for my round town work. The GT3 with it's MPSC's just can't do daily driving anymore, thus it's just become a dedicated track day car. Means I'll have to go to the track more so I get to drive it more, yeeehah!!

At least you get to drive in the carpool lane all by yourself. FYI, i get about 30mpg in the Elise

I'll be getting 60mpg! I never have to go on the freeways, my whole life is within a couple of miles of the house, infactt he only time I use the freeways is going to Button Willow!

Those times were set with a different track configuration, minus the Mazda Star Turn, which probably adds ~4secs per lap.
Not to mention, that little fully track prepared '72 RSR was driven by Jack Olsen, a better driver than anyone at our track day.
