Default Question about ramps...

I have a set of ramps (from pep boys I think) rated 12,000 lbs GWV (no problems there). The one problem is they are not quite wide enough for 295 tires. They are very close, I would say 1/2" or maybe even just 1/4" of the tire will overhang the ramp on either side. Is there any safety issue or potential damage to the tires if use these ramps to do an oil change? Thanks.

I would also be worried about the ramps contacting the bodywork at some point.

That doesn't seem to be an issue.
