GT3 Track Rims
What rims are you guys using for track tires. I would like to get 9 and 11. Seems like the only options are to custom made wheels from BBS, Kinesis, Fikse, etc ... Anything else out there that fit?

That was what I thought also, but on the BBS website, it's the only wheel they offer for the GT3.
Part #LM130 9x18 & LM 130HA 11x18
My wheel guys are checking with the US importer, as he didi not have those part numbers before.

Front: LM 130 - 9" x 18"
Rear: LM 132 - 11" x 18"
Not sure why, but I can't find the offsets listed anywhere. You might want to call Wheel Enhancement for that. They are a fairly large BBS dealer and should have an application list.

I just bought a sete of OZ wheels for mine. They have the correct (weird) offset for the GT3. They weigh 21 and 22.8 lbs Will instasll next week. It's a two piece wheel of very high quality. In any case OZ is a viable alternative to BBS.

I just talked to wheel enhancements and gave them the part numbers. They are going to look into it. They were not aware of this wheel yet. They told me this morning that the LM would not work with out spacers. If anyone finds out more about these wheel let me know.
Bob what OZ wheels did you get? What offset and widths? Thanks.

Viken - You are correct these are new wheels. Mine are the second set they have built apparently. They are 8.5 and 11 inches with 40 and 63 offsets. They build them to be identical to the OEM GT3 wheels although they are several lbs lighter. Note, I gave the wrong figures for weight, they are 22.5 and 24.5 lbs front and rear. I was fortunate enough to meet the President of OZ North America at the dealer who supplies my tires. Same outfit is now the Canadian Distributor for OZ. It took only 10 days to get them.. nice service for a custom assembled rim I think.

Bill, I got them from the distributor here in Montreal, Pneus Touchette. Haven't got the invoice yet but I think they are about $3000 US for the set. These wheels are a few pounds lighter than the OEM wheels. There are lighter ones out there but I prefer a very srong wheel. Potholes are a fact of life around here and I have bent/cracked enough exotic rims to make me compromise in favor of brute strength.
