Racing radiators
Hello everyone,
My specialist mentioned that there are full aluminium rads for the cooling in the front.
Did someone already hear of such solution? is it really worth it?
thanks for feedback.

Ran CSF radiators on my 2001 Cup and it was worth every penny of the cost. I just purchased a set of CSFs for my 2004 GT3from Demonspeed Motorsports. I ordered them on Sunday and they shipped on Monday and arrived on Tuesday/Wednesday! Service excellence from Ed and the gang at Demonspeed. HIGHLY Recommended!

Did the same, converted all 3 to CSF and tilted using the GT2 duct to RSR style on mine, noticeable drop in temps (a tick or two on the gauge in most scenarios) here in the sweltering summer here in FL.

So my car may be considered janky by some on this board. Its a 2000 c2 with 95% of a 2004 gt3 swapped into it.
The rad air ducts do need to get modified and my mk1 ducts r even harder to fit. i used a heat gun to softern the plastic and molded it around the rad corner. Its not perfect but nothing on my car is. For the slots in the bumper i just measures it up and when it looked good to my eye, started cutting. Again mk1 bumper is harder because of the lights.
I have a lot if pics toward the end if my build thread.

best pic i have of the duct, just zoom in

Thanks for the complement, its as fun as a real gt3 in the street and the the track. I figure since Porsche just copied my build a few months back with their "classic" 996 build, i did a cool thing .

I got a ride in this car around the track and there is nothing janky about it. It's completely awesome actually.

I had to replace two of the radiators in my cup car a few years back and for the price difference, went with OEM equivalent Beru over CSF. I’m sure the CSF products are great, but at almost 3x the cost, I couldn’t justify it.
with regards to the central radiator tilt, my cup car has no tilt on the middle rad. Thus I would assume it’s not essential to tilt it if you want to run a bumper with upper slots?

With no tilt the slots r just for looks. The air will travel under the car just like the factory intended. When u tilt and use the chimeney the air is forced over the hood and increase aero.

Pic of my 6 cup when I swapped the side rad. Maybe the central rad does have a slight forward forward tilt on it? Definitely no GT2 chimney. The underside of the cup bumper has no holes in it unlike the street bumper. To me, the front end of the cup car feels a lot more stuck to the ground in higher speed corners than the regular GT3. I’d assume Porsche didn’t put the slots there for looks (but I do prefer the way it looks ). I would think so long as the bottom of the bumper is sealed up, the air is going to be forced up through the top vents, even without a tilt.
